Research on the Process of Returning Limestone Cake to Production
Given the current problem of limestone solid waste treatment in steel mills, two briquetting treatment techniques and methods are introduced. It is suitable for the recycling of limestone mud cake in steel mills to realize the recycling of dust and sludge generated in its production process.
1. Dry briquetting
1.1 Process flow: mud cake→drying→briquetting→drying→qualified pellet→silo
1.2 Advantages of dry briquetting:
① No need to add ingredients, low cost of raw materials.
② The finished ball can be directly put into the high-level warehouse, and the floor space is samll.
1.3 Disadvantage of dry briquetting:
① The process scheme is complicated.
② Drying facilities are required.
③ The working system needs to run continuously for 24 hours, and the energy consumption is high.
④ Many staffing, heavy production management load, high production and operation cost.
⑤ The material is dry, and the production process is easy to raise dust, so it is necessary to increase the investment in environmental protection facilities.
2. Wet briquetting
2.1 Process flow:mud cake + ingredients → mixing → briquetting → storage yard maintenance → qualified pellets
2.2 Advantages of wet briquetting:
① Simple process scheme
② Low energy consumption
③ Less investment
④ Less staffing, convenient production management, low production and operation cost
⑤ The moisture content of raw materials, ingredients, intermediate materials and finished products are all above 10%, so no dust removal system is set up in the conveying process, and there is no dust in the production process, which is conducive to environmental protection.
2.3 Disadvantage of wet briquetting:
① Need to add ingredients, the cost of raw materials increases.
② The green ball maintenance site area is large.
